Strategy for getting setup in Red Deer Pond Hockey:

After first game, have a team meeting with parents and players to:

  • Let them know your expectations of the Players
  • What parents can expect from you
  • Will you be unavailable at some point
  • Where you need help (ask someone to be the goalie coordinator and be responsible for setting up the player and goalie equipment for next week so you do not have to carry to each game, etc.)
  • Provide parents/guardians contact information for team coaches/manager/liaison
  • Assign team volunteer roles: team manager, jersey parents
